American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
The AICPA is the national professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public, as well as employers and clients.
As a provider of cost/schedule integration management tools, Dekker, Ltd. provides the AICPA with the latest information on contemporary tools that increase the value of an organization, ultimately benefiting employers, clients, shareholders and the general public.
American Management Association (AMA)
The AMA provides managers and their organizations worldwide with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to improve business performance, adapt to a changing workplace, and prosper in a complex and competitive business world. AMA serves as a forum for the exchange of the latest information, ideas, and insights on management practices and business trends. AMA disseminates content and information to a worldwide audience through multiple distribution channels and its strategic partners.
Dekker, Ltd. strives to provide the most effective enterprise project management (EPM) and project portfolio management (PPM) tools possible. Participation in the AMA provides Dekker with opportunities to both learn from the most current trends in management, and to respond to those trends with innovative solutions that promote the most effective management techniques.
Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
DAU’s mission is to provide practitioner training and services to enable the acquisition, technology and logistics (AT&L) community to make smart business decisions and deliver timely and affordable capabilities to the war fighter. DAU coordinates the acquisition education and training programs to meet the training requirements of approximately 132,000 Department of Defense (DoD) AT&L workforce personnel. As the DoD’s corporate university for acquisition education, DAU sponsors curriculum and instructor training to provide a full range of basic, intermediate, advanced, and assignment-specific courses to support the career goals and professional development of the AT&L workforce.
Dekker, Ltd.’s customer base is highly represented in the military sector. Involvement with DAU provides Dekker with the opportunity to exchange ideas and practices with government. Dekker has made a commitment to DAU to collaboratively design courses that meet and exceed business standards.
Dekker Project Portfolio Management Forum™ (PPM Forum)
The Dekker PPM Forum facilitates an annual sharing of contemporary approaches to project portfolio management (PPM). With commercial and government representatives sharing their perspectives on the evolution of the industry and world-class training on various project management topics, the PPM Forum provides insight and applications possibilities to all who attend.

By hosting this annual forum, Dekker brings together industry practitioners and innovators to share ideas, provide feedback, and shape the future of the project portfolio and management systems industry.
Institute of Management Accountants (IMA)
The IMA provides members with personal and professional development opportunities in management accounting, financial management, and information management through education, association with business professionals, and certification in management accounting and financial management. The IMA is globally recognized by the financial community as a respected institution influencing the concepts and ethical practices of accounting, finance and, information management.
Dekker Ltd.’s project management information system (PMIS) integrates accounting information with scheduling and resource data to provide a cohesive insight into the status of any organization’s portfolio of projects. Through our involvement with the IMA, Dekker is able to learn the most current accounting concepts and practices, in addition to providing IMA members with the benefits of our products for their needs
National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA)
The NDIA’s mission is to provide a legal and ethical forum for the interchange of ideas between government and industry to resolve industrial problems of joint concern. The NDIA’s primary areas of interest lie in the business and technical aspects of the government-industry relationship. These areas encompass government policies and practices throughout the entire acquisition process, including research and development, procurement, logistics support, and many technical areas.
Dekker, Ltd. is actively involved with the NDIA in facilitating the adaptation of its guidelines and standards by the businesses and government agencies that benefit from our product solutions.
Project Management Institute (PMI)
PMI provides global leadership in the development of standards for the practice of the project management profession. Since 1984, PMI has been dedicated to developing and maintaining a rigorous, examination-based, professional certification program to advance the project management profession and to recognize the achievements of individuals in project management. PMI is focused on the expansion of the body of knowledge of the project management profession.
Through our involvement with PMI, Dekker, Ltd. is able to maintain an integral role in shaping the future of the project management profession. New government regulations, advances in practices, and cutting-edge project management technologies are shared between all PMI members, and Dekker is proud to be a key player in this collective effort. Dekker has been recognized as a PMI Registered Education Provider (REP), and our President and CEO, Simon Dekker, is often invited to speak at PMI events.
PMI College of Performance Management (CPM)
CPM’s mission is to be the recognized forum for the development of earned value management (EVM) standard practices, as well as for the exchange of EVM ideas, applications, and solutions to project management issues among global PMI components and project management professionals.
As a leading provider of standardized EVM application solutions, Dekker, Ltd. stands as an integral player in the exchange of ideas within the project management community as they pertain to earned value.
PMI College Of Scheduling (COS)
The PMI COS provides a forum for professionals to promote excellence in scheduling through networking; the sharing project of experiences; providing and receiving training; providing support and encouragement for the ongoing development of the PMI Body of Knowledge in the areas of scheduling and time management; and supporting project managers in their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification efforts. The PMI COS is the only worldwide organization dedicated solely to advancing the techniques, practice, and profession of Project Scheduling.
Dekker, Ltd. solutions increase the effectiveness of project management by integrating schedule and cost in a way that provides management with a complete view of a project. Involvement with the PMI COS provides Dekker with a means by which to inform the ongoing development of our solutions with the latest scheduling trends.
The Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA)
The SCEA is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving cost estimating and analysis in government and industry and to enhancing the professional competence and achievements of its members.
Dekker, Ltd. provides software that enables users to gain insight into the progress of a developing project. At as early as 15% into a project of any size, Dekker’s project management information system (PMIS) provides an accurate estimate of the final costs of a project and the likeliness of meeting schedule and budget targets. Dekker has contributed to SCEA by attending conferences and contributing numerous papers on the topic of cost analysis and performance measurement.
