Dekker to Host 2012 EFCOG Project Management Working Group
For the second consecutive year, Dekker will host the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) Project Management Working Group Spring Meeting in San Diego, California. The meeting will take place May 15-16, 2012, on Shelter Island.
EFCOG is a group of dedicated contractors and vendors working to craft best practices, ensure the highest level of performance in executing federal energy projects, and facilitate clear and effective communications between government leaders and the energy contracting community.
The two-day event will include presentations from Department of Energy leaders, as well as from representatives of the companies carrying out some of the most ambitious and challenging efforts currently underway to improve nuclear operations around the country.
The working group meetings will take place at Humphreys Half Moon Inn and Suites in San Diego, the traditional location of the bi-annual Dekker Summit. In 2011, EFCOG shared the week with the Dekker Summit, and dozens of program and project management professionals in every discipline – from energy, to defense, private industry, and even entertainment – from around the country were able to meet and share ideas.
