At the Epicor Insights 2012 conference, which took place at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas from May 6-9, Dekker helped launch the Dekker TRAKKER® alliance partnership with the EPICOR E9 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution. Due in large part to TRAKKER's Earned Value Management (EVM) capabilities, Epicor has turned to Dekker's flagship product to increase the functionality of their ERP project management module.
At the conference, Simon Dekker gave a presentation on the growing importance of Earned Value Management, discussing how the practice has expanded far beyond its U.S. Department of Defense roots, and is now embraced in private sector industries both in the United States and internationally. To make clear how EVM concepts are applied in practice, session attendees got to see a Dekker TRAKKER® demonstration as a part of the presentation.
In separate training sessions taught by Epicor representatives, users learned about the new project management features available in the latest iteration of Epicor's industry-standard ERP offering, and got a glimpse of the integration with Trakker.
