Dekker PMIS™ 7.4 Release
Dekker, Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of the Dekker PMIS™ (Project Management Information System) version 7.4, which includes updates for Dekker TRAKKER®, Dekker iPursuit®, and Dekker Traction™. Version 7.4 incorporates a number of updates and enhancements, and resolves anomalies identified in previous versions of the software suite.
Some of the changes to Release 7.4 include:
- Improved architecture for up to 80% faster resource processing times (when compared with version 7.3)
- Improved speed in the ABC screen
- Expanded Sort, Select, Summarize Dynamic Drilldown Reporting capabilities
- Improved performance when making edits to action requests
- Enhanced user security
All Dekker customers with Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze SES packages (Software Enhancement Support) who have purchased their software licenses within the last sixty days will receive the PMIS version 7.4 release at no additional charge. Any organizations with up-to-date SES packages but who fall outside of the sixty-day purchase window are eligible to receive the upgrade at 40% of the list price. An update to the database is required to support the addition of the new features and updates in version 7.4. Dekker will provide all MS Access, SQL, and Oracle database users with instructions on how to update their respective databases, as well as guidelines on how to complete a full backup before implementing the Dekker PMIS™ upgrade. As always, Dekker recommends that users test the release to ensure the expected results are achieved before switching versions in a production environment; in addition, please back up existing databases before implementation.
