Dekker, Ltd. attended the 2010 Waste Management Symposium held from March 7-10 in Phoenix, and visitors to the Dekker booth on the exhibit floor got the first look at the new Dekker iProgram™ tool.
iProgram is the powerful new web-based Oversight and Assessment component of the Dekker PMIS (Program Management Information System) software suite. It offers management an unparalleled level of program and project analysis, accessible from anywhere and updated in real time, giving them the information necessary to best align scarce capital resources with strategic organizational goals. iProgram will soon be commercially available to Dekker customers.
The WM2010 conference was a natural choice to begin showcasing the product’s capabilities because of the many Department of Energy contractors in attendance. Dekker iProgram™ provides the technological framework for the U.S. Department of Energy’s PARS II (Project Assessment and Reporting System), which is to be deployed at DOE project sites nationwide by Dekker and Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC.
With a new Dekker product comes a new Dekker mascot, as well, and WM2010 attendees were the first to take home the newest member of the Dekker family – the Dekker iProgram™ Jaguar. Starting with the Dekker TRAKKER® Lion, Dekker tradeshow giveaways have long been attendee favorites, and our new jaguar proved no exception. More jaguars will be in attendance at future tradeshows, so be sure to check the Dekker Events page for more information on upcoming events.
The annual Waste Management Conference, presented by WM Symposia (WMS), is widely regarded as the premier international conference for the management of radioactive material and related topics. This year’s event had over 1900 attendees from all around the world. For more information on the conference, visit www.wmsym.org.
